I recently visited Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant on Nostrand Ave for a quick breakfast, and while I was excited for my usual Saltfish and Festival, it didn't quite hit the mark this time.

The dish had an odd amount of okra mixed in, which I personally don't enjoy, and the overall portion felt lacking. 😕 I did appreciate the casual atmosphere and the fact that it's family-friendly and inclusive.

On a brighter note, their beef patties and porridge are definitely worth trying! Just be prepared for a potentially inconsistent experience. Hoping my next visit shines brighter... 🌞
