Fuego Típico Restaurant is a cozy spot with a vibrant atmosphere that feels welcoming! I stopped in for lunch and tried the pernil with arroz con gandules and sweet plantains - absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, and it didn’t break the bank.

While the service was generally good, it’s worth noting that the garlic sauce didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I also noticed the place transforms into a lively spot post-8 PM, which might be fun for some, but it was a bit too loud for my group.

Overall, I’d definitely return if I’m in the Bronx again! 🌟
