My wife and I received a gift card from our neighbors for a Christmas gift so went down to checkout this little gem that was actually about 5 minutes from our house and let me tell you we were so glad that we did! WOW!!! This place was awesome! For starters we had ice cold beer on tap, great wine and one of the best Bloody Mary's that I've ever had! We had the saganaki cheese sticks and the oysters Rockefeller for appetizers! AMAZING! So cheesy and so very flavorful!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOTH! Lastly for dinner we ordered the parmesan garlic wings with a side of parmesan garlic fries Tasted good with very good portions! Overall a phenomenal little bar/restaurant, comfy and cozy with a great wait staff cooks and bartenders five stars!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I will definitely be making Fritz pour House bar a regular stop and you should too!!!!
Was looking for a local spot while in town from Kansas City when I came across Fritz’s Pour House. As I walked in the staff greeted my family immediately, sat us down and provided a list of specials. The food was amazing and the portions were more than a guy like me could eat. I highly recommend this fast, friendly, and quality place for a quick bite and a cold beer!
My first (and last) time here. Our server was really nice, and for that I was glad. The parmesean garlic fries were outstanding. The rest of the experience was "meh" at best. There aren't many tables so people stand in the doorway awkwardly giving your dirty looks to try and hurry you up because they want your table. The food took FOREVER to come.It is unfortunate too, because if they had taken the shrimp out of whatever cooked them maybe and hour earlier maybe they wouldn't have been in direct competition with the tires on my car. It actually took almost an hour and a half to get our food. And then another 45 minutes for dessert. Let me be clear, I didn't mind because we were having a great time chatting with friends, but had I come with a boring group I would have been superbly annoyed. As mentioned, the shrimp on my shrimp po'boy were severely over cooked and so tough I could hardly cut them with a knife. The broccoli others at my table ordered was a bit tough and one crown went flying as my friend tried to cut it, but it was like, "nope. Not today. Today I am gonna be too hard to cut." They did like their salmon though. The salted carmel cheesecake had a weird flavor, so I wasn't too impressed with that either.
