Chicken restaurant
This restaurant used to be a Houston/hometown favorite 10-20 years ago.But based on this recent visit, it has really gone downhill. I ordered the three piece special that included a drumstick wing and a thigh. They tasted extra salty. The fries were cold even though I had to wait 10 minutes for my order. The atmosphere was super basic and looked really old. There was a sit down area inside, but was not appearing enough to actually dine in.you have to order at a takeout window. The girl behind the dirty window was having a really hard time understanding my order. Not sure I’ll be back.
Today, I ordered what was supposed to be an 8 piece family meal that came with a side and bread and this was all we received.Don’t understand what is so hard about making an order correctly and counting the pieces of chicken per order and reading the order to make sure it’s correct. The rice looked like it was already eaten as well.A waste of time and money and the service and quality needs to get better.Normally they are decent but not this time.I didn’t feel comfortable eating this mess.Thankfully, I was able to receive my money back for doordash.Better off preparing your food at home.I’m good on Frenchy’s.
We ordered from this place thinking it was a part of the Frenchy's chain. Our big mistake! The dirty rice was spoiled, greens very salty, and there are some weird particles in the chicken. I couldn't tell if that was human hair or what that were embeded in the chicken meat & batter. Totally threw away the chicken out of disgust. Never again!
