Formosa Seafood Buffet (Chuancai Fang)

My partner enjoys eating Asian foods so I tried finding a buffet.
The reviews were mixed but we decided to try it anyway.
The food on the bar seemed fresh and hot.
The hibachi bar was nice but small.
The hibachi cook did a good job cooking.
There was not many seafood choices as the restaurant name suggests.
The service was good.
The bathrooms definitely need a good cleaning or a bleach spray down as there is a strong odor of urine at the bathroom area.
You can also smell it at the hallway leading towards the bathroom.
If they adjust the smell the rating could go up.
The bathroom odor definitely affected the experience.
The price was decent for the food.

What the Formosa! My family and I wanted to try something new.
We seen Formosa online and decided to try it. Walking into the place, it was way nicer on the inside than the outside, but it did have a little smell to it (I didn't notice the wishing fountain, because the fountain wasn't on so the water must have been the smell...I hoped.) The placed was a bit empty but you could see the obvious difference of who the waitresses catered too.
The customers that were there with asian-decent and spoke the language did get seem to get more attention.
While others just got the pass by attention. The food looked old and some were like rocks.
It's like if you weren't in the know, than you weren't getting that table service that we observed other receiving. This review is not about race at all.
It's about the food.
The food had me in the bathroom all night and literally the entire day the following day.
Forget the service, the quality of the food is my issue. In other words, if you are going to dine here, bring an iron stomach.

Clean and hygienic restaurant with many choices & varieties of food at the buffet table.
Worthy to spend for.
Sushi lovers - it’s for you.
Mostly a Chinese food and cuisines but not authentic or traditional.
Just a regular sea food buffet with more deep fried items.
That’s why it gets a less rating when compared to others in town.
And desserts with not much of varieties.
As usual.
Could improve with varieties and make it more attractive.
