If you plan on using Local Flavor here…BEWARE and ask if the manager is there to accept it before sitting! We arrived on Sunday at 11am opening time on 06/23/2024 and… I gave the initial 1 star with all others up high because the food was good as well as the service but then we tried to use our Local Flavor coupon and was told the manager was not here and he is the only one who can accept them so I gave one star for how crummy that was. We tried the mushroom quesadilla, nachos, and beef rolled tacos. The server was a very polite young man. We should have been offered a free dessert or something for our troubles of not getting to use our Local Flavor but nope, nothing.
My daughter and I had a fantastic meal here. The food was amazing.I found out the owner runs Mr Burrito in Red Bank as well.I will definitely be coming back again. They are also on Local Flavor. It's a must try for authentic Mexican food.
We always stop in Chattanooga on our way back home from Florida and looked into trying some place new. We opted to try this place as it had decent reviews. The place was pretty quiet, almost dead at 6:30 PM but it was a Monday. We got seated promptly and asked about the specials. Bonus, we still had a half hour left of happy hour. After being seated it took quite a while for a server to get to us, now remember they weren’t busy. I ordered the brisket burrito and my wife ordered the chicken Parmesan quesadilla. My burrito was tender but pretty much flavorless which was a disappointment. My wife’s quesadilla was basically a burrito shell folded in half and not cut at all. She had no cheese in it and the chicken was dry and bland. She only ate one bite. Our server never even acknowledged that she had hardly touched it. Next time we come through town we won’t be visiting this place again.
