I had the pleasure of dining at Fiume Pizzeria and Wine Bar and I must say, it was a delightful experience! I indulged in their delicious Caesar salad and a mouthwatering cheese pizza with extra cheese. The service was top-notch, with our lovely waitress being incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout our meal. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a cozy and enjoyable dining experience.I highly recommend Fiume Pizzeria and Wine Bar for anyone looking for a fantastic meal with exceptional service.
Went there when I was visiting San Antonio with my boyfriend and I can say that this is the best pizza I’ve ever had!! The service, atmosphere, and everything was amazing.I loved the pistachio tiramisu and I don’t even like pistachio.I would definitely travel 600 miles just to eat at this place.100% recommended!!
Located right next to the Riverwalk, you'll find Fiume. We initially reserved a table for inside, but outside wouldn't be a bad choice either; as the inside was a bit noisy. We started with the burrata for the app.It was nice and had various different flavors accompany the bread and the mozzarella.I have little to no complaints about it.Though, according to other photos of the dish online from Fiume, the dish may be altered from time to time.Such as their usage of sliced prosciutto instead of crispy prosciutto bits in which we received. On to the pizza! I chose the Funghi, while my partner chose the Classico. The pies came out fresh and had a great presentation.I believe they're all one size, but big enough to satisfy most. Both pies were tasty and had plenty of crunch from the crust and a crisp bite all the way through each slice.Personally for me, I prefer an overall thicker dough.I guess that's just the New Yorker in me (I'm Texan btw).Overall, they were mostly satisfying, but not something I'd be eager to go back to. My wife's sweet tooth came knocking, so she ordered the bread pudding and the cheesecake topped with peaches. Both were disappointing. The bread pudding was not fresh and I had to use a bit of elbow grease to carve my spoon into it.The flavors didn't help either. My wife was a bit more forgiving on the desserts though, so I'd recommend a coin toss if you're interested in trying these. Service was OK.Our waiter was a nice young lad, but lacked any hospitality. Not that we really needed anything during our meal, but it was still noticeable. In the end, we had a good time. 3.8/5
