The broccolini should have been named “Green Goddess Broccolini” because it is certainly in the level of being a goddess! The sauce was Tahini and Cashew agrodolce, the blend was so smooth and so perfect, with so many layers of flavour, that there was not one thing that stood out.It was a team.A team of flavours! That was my fave. If you dislike veggies, this one will make you change your mind. The pork belly was one of the best I’ve eaten.WORTH going to the restaurant, for these 2 dishes.I’m sure the others were also good but we didn’t get to try them. The meatballs and spaghetti though were lackluster, it does a disservice to the restaurant. It had no flavour and was a little less than mediocre. That’s ok, the other 2 dishes were great. You win some, you lose one! The mock tail with ginger was also fabulous. The service was spectacular, our server was so patient, kind and professional.I loved the whole experience minus the spaghetti. Atmosphere was also quite relaxed and chill. One of my faves in Phoenix! I will recommend this place to anyone visiting Phoenix.
This place gets our 5-star vote! We are addicted to the Brocolini dish.A definite must.We shared it and regretted that we did.We should have ordered one each!!! We will go back to this restaurant just for this dish. The pork belly was melt in your mouth good!
Food was good overall.I wouldn’t come back, I’ll rather tried a new place. Our server Melissa was outstanding and nice. The lady who seat us was rolling her eyes was we wanted a different table from the one right by the entry because we have an infant and wanted a more isolated table. The appetizers were very good and with a twist. The crab appetizer was great but missing some flavor and lots of butter/oil.Cauliflower was very good and the kale salad was our favorite. We also tried the bread, and the spices on it were delicious. Our entries were a mushroom rigatoni and prime ny strip. The pasta was super good but we got the steak medium even though we ordered medium well. It’s took what it felt like forever to get it redone, and this time came back very salty.I tried to return a glass of wine I didn’t think it matched my meal (it was still pretty much intact) and I ordered something else, but we still got charged for it, thumbs down for that; as we have encountered similar situations a few times in our food journey without issues to being charged.
