Everything here was good but not great. With one exception: the signature Fire wings. These were perfectly cooked and seasoned, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside, as well as being meatier than most wings. They were probably the best chicken wings I've ever had. That said, there was a "mix up" in the kitchen that caused our meals to take an hour to come to our table after ordering(this was in a relatively empty restaurant). My braised short ribs and risotto were prepared nicely and plated well, but arrived at room temperature. My wife enjoyed her salad, and it was ample in portion size, but it was just salad: hard to mess up.The dessert menu was so basic and unappetizing that we passed and had ice cream when we got home. Our waitress was stretched way too thin, and that negatively affected service. We did enjoy the decor and views of Broadway below, but it wasn't enough to make up for their shortcomings. The wings tho: wow.

Hello Max-Thanks for sharing your experience! It sounds like the Fire wings were the highlight of your meal, and I'm glad they lived up to the hype. It's unfortunate that other aspects, like slow service and temperature issues with the main courses, didn't meet expectations.Your feedback is valuable, and we hope to welcome you back. Fire restaurant in the 4th floor of the Art Hotel is a great spot. It's beautiful with amazing views of the downtown skyline. The staff are really friendly and professional.I ate here twice during our hotel stay and loved it.Their blue sunrise smoothie and bacon Gouda sandwich for breakfast were delicious.During happy hour, the appetizers and drinks were perfect.Definitely a great place to dine if you're in the area.
