I haven't been down this stretch of imperial Ave for a decade (I have an office in Golden hill) so I thought I'd come down and get lunch.
Found this amazing spot which just as easily could be downtown charging 2x what everything cost.
They've got Berria and seafood, I had a Berria queso taco and octopus taco, both were outstanding.
Great addition to the neighborhood and I will certainly return to try the ceviche!

The best spot in SD for some delicious mariscos and shrimp tacos.
Highly recommend! The Cali taco and the hija de Pu** are our favorite items on the menu 😋 also can’t go wrong with El Prieto

First time trying this place and it did not disappoint! It may be a lil more pricey than other mariscos places, but the quality is definitely there! I’ve never had ceviche that have tasted like the ones we got and it makes me want to try the others. We got the El Prieto which was spicy and Mango Tango was sweet but tangy ceviche.
We also got the birria fries! It was just us two, but those 3 items easily could’ve been split between 3-4 people as we didn’t finish everything. We can’t wait to come back!!!
