We have been here several times, always ordering the vegan/vegetarian combo which is very good.
Last time we were very disppointed about the service. We preferred sitting on a table with an 'actual table' instead of the 'African tables' where you need to bend down to more, depending on your height.
Several tables were empty but the owner refused to get us seated there.
One table would have needed to be clean, the others as we found out after several minutes were reserved.
No problem but I didn't like the way we were treated.
He said 'We could be thankful that he gives us a table at all since we don't have a reservation.' Sorry for the inconvience we caused when we wanted to dine in your restaurant.
We never needed a reservation before.
Only three tables were actually used and as the nobody else came for the rest of the evening while we ate.
The owner apologized and said the other parties had cancelled. Communication didn't go well and we didn't feel welcomed.
We enjoyed the delicious food but we won't come back.

One of the best eateries Milwaukee has to offer! Amazing food at a good price (expect to feed your whole family) at incredible speed for the low amount of staffing.
Service is always courteous and the establishment is always clean and comfortable.
Park up the street a block or around the corner if you're eating in as Farwell is always a hassle but the walk is more than worth it!

Oh, what a find.
I love Ethiopian food and this was all that! Don't go if you are in a rush, this place is a whole chill vibe.
The food was amazing, and do get the mango drink.
It was so nice not to be in a loud restaurant, even the other dinners were speaking only for their table to hear.
Again, it was a vibe.
I loved it and I will be returning often.
