Service was the real highlight.
Everyone was very friendly and attentive.
Made some good suggestions and took the time to chat a little and not just rush about with your order and such.
Really makes one feel welcome. Food was good and the one thing keeping it from top marks is that a poached egg on anything "Benedict" should be runny.
That was not the case here.
The yoke on the first was firm with near hardboiled edges, while the second was at the jelly state.
So a little more effort needs to go into the timing. The cheese steak dish was very good and also quite filling, which is a good thing on a snowy day better suited for staying inside. Happy with the overall experience however and would go back if time or another visit to Milwaukee permits.

Interesting experience with the biscuits and gravy.
Everything tasted great and the eggs Benedict were the perfect doneness, but the gravy was broken and the weirdest texture I've ever seen.
Thankfully it tasted good because I've never seen a gravy so poorly executed before The croissant beignets were an freaking amazing Edit in response to the owner's response: All gravy is roux based.
I lived in Louisiana half my life and have made biscuits and gravy countless times as well as eaten it at restaurants more times than I can remember.
This gravy is broken.
The oil is floating on top and the roux is lumpy.
If you think THIS is well executed then there's a problem

Thank you so much!! Our sausage gravy is roux based & is a staple of ours! It also has chunks of sausage in it.
It may be different than what you’ve seen, but we feel it is well executed.

Food was a bit too salty for me but overall excellent.
Luckily, we did not have the server that was chomping on her gum as she engaged with her tables or this review would have been a 1-star.
Our server, Dakota, was on spot!
