El Rey Del Pollo is a hidden gem in Charlotte! 🌟 The atmosphere is casual and cozy, perfect for solo dining or a quick meal with friends. I indulged in the gorditas, which were not only delicious but also quite filling - two were more than enough!

The chips and charro beans served as starters were delightful too. While the chicken was slightly dry and the flavor okay, the overall experience was fantastic - great service and authentic vibes. You can’t beat the prices here; a complete meal for two under $20 is a steal! I’ll definitely return to explore more of the menu...!
