We came across this place on 7/28/23 Peru’s Independence Day.While there was 80’s pop music playing on the background, I asked the waitress if she could play some Peruvian Festive music. She quickly replied said “the owner is the only person that can make the changes.” My table was sticky. The rugs were dirty and appearance was bad. There was practically nothing from the Appetizer Menu.We only got the Yuca Huancaina. The Fish Ceviche needed a lot of salt. Lomo Saltado was cooked with lots of soy sauce . I came from Philadelphia for a conference and this was definitely not a good pick. I hope they improve. Attached is the ceviche and the appetizer plate “yuca a la huancaina “
The worst Peruvian food I’ve ever eaten.Basically like Chinese fried rice and the chicken wasn’t even white meat like they said it would be.Highly doubtful this is authentic Peruvian food. They had hardly any items available at lunch, so dinner is the only meal with actual options. We were the only customers, so that’s a red flag. The waitress still made us pay even though we ate 1 bite. All she could offer was a different dish and we didn’t want anything else there.👎🏻
I was almost afraid to walk inside or even get out of my car for that matter. The place is empty! We were the only ones in the restaurant besides the staff. On top of that, once seated we asked about different menu items, specifically vegetarian plate, wine and spicy food. What a big disappointment! But what we did end up getting was pretty good and another family did come in before we left. The establishment rating was 96.7; not the worst I've seen in Charlotte & definitely not the best! Would we return, of course we will maybe not too soon but definitely will return.
