September 06, 2024El Quetzal Guatemalan Restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere that feels like a warm embrace. I tucked into their incredible Tamales, which truly transported me back to my mom's kitchen - flavorful and comforting!
While my service started off slow (I waited a bit longer than expected), the staff was sincerely apologetic and even gave a discount, which I appreciated.
The Shuco was fantastic! If I had to nitpick, the Pupusa felt a tad dry, but overall, I'm excited to return and explore more of their menu! Perfect spot for some authentic Guatemalan comfort food in Chicago! 🌮✨
