Donnell's Kitchen & Lounge is a hidden gem in Kansas City! 🌟 I had the shrimp and grits, and it was simply AMAZING - huge portions of plump shrimp in a spicy, smooth gravy over creamy, cheesy grits. The egg on top was the perfect touch!

I also tried the smothered pork chops, which were well-seasoned and paired beautifully with savory rice and tender collard greens.

The service was excellent, too; I got to joke with the owner as I dined. Definitely plan to return for more delicious soul food! Can't recommend it enough! 🍽️
