No frills pizzeria experience.
I actually ordered the Calzone, expecting a pizza crust folded over stuffed with the double sausage I ordered with cheese.
Traditionally, these have been served with the tomato sauce on the side in a dipping container.
I was surprised to find the sauce was baked in (they do serve a small cup of additional sauce on the side).
I have to be cautious on the intake of tomato acid.
The Calzone was served hot and sliced into 4 slices, making it easy to enjoy.

I’ve written a handful of reviews in decades, however last night was unreal.
I paid $11 for a ham and cheese sub.
Barely barely barely any meat on it.
I should have taken a photo, I was so frustrated after my wait and 12 min drive there.
Other than that food was very good as usual.

Great place to stop for lunch! The thin crust had some crisp.
Overall good tasting pizza.
