We stopped for a late breakfast, the dining room was less than half full.
We walked in the door at 11:20am and waited 5-10 minutes for someone to seat us.
Should've just left but the kids were hungry for good breakfast food and Dennys is the place for that.
Our waitress was very nice.
We ordered.
Three of us.
Then we waited an hour and 10 minutes for our food.
I asked why it took so long and the waitress explained that their manager had a stroke last night, a cook didn't show up, lots of to go orders and they've been backed up since 9am.
I can sympathize with these things except for the last one.
If you KNOW that you've been behind for almost 3 hours, you KNOW you're still not caught up, WHY WOULDN'T YOU TELL PEOPLE THAT IT'S GOING TO BE OVER AN HOUR UNTIL YOU GET YOUR FOOD?!

You should have been told there would be a wait since our team dealt with the perfect storm of delays, which is not typical.

I'm gonna give a 5 star it was clean good customer service and food was great update went again 06/27/2023 excellent service Kim was our waitress food was excellent!

Considering it was Thanksgiving, everything was great.
We were immediately sat.
I got the Cinnamon Roll pancake slam and was not disappointed.
Food was all prepared to my liking & was delicious (with leftovers).
And our server was on top of everything and awesome! Would definitely go back.
Definitely recommend the cinnamon roll pancake slam they were exactly what they were advertised.
Sooo good.
