Chinese restaurant, Bar, Dim sum restaurant, Restaurant
Dim sum is brought out from the kitchen rather than served from steam carts going around the restaurant. As for the taste and quality, they depend on what item you order.I liked the bean curd roll and the shrimp stuffed tofu but the fried chive dumplings were gummy.Prices start at $5.25 per order and go up to over $10.The service was pleasant but weekends are extremely busy here.
Decent yumcha where the dumplings was dense, and the tripe was flavourful. The xiao long bao was a bit thick skinned, but the fried rice was cooked well.Service wad prompt and friendly enough. The stainless steel steam pods instead of bamboo are offputting.Nothing special, a little on the pricey side for what you get, but still a nice place to try.
I really enjoyed everything that I ate here and my friend and I ordered a lot! We came in at a weird time so there weren’t many people inside but overall the atmosphere, attentiveness, and food were great.Where I live there is hardly any dim sum so I crave this all the time. Not pictured: egg buns I think? they have a hint of sweetness, I think about those every other day. Can’t wait to come back!
