We started with tasty cocktails and deviled eggs.
The lamb chops were beautifully presented but I should have ordered them medium.
His country fried steak was on the small side and the presentation was plain but he enjoyed it.
We loved the intimate atmosphere and the vine-like “branches” on the ceiling.
Was surprised when our server (who was excellent otherwise) said he’d prefer a cash tip.
Nice experience overall.

I had such a memorable night a Georgia Brown.
Very welcoming place, awesome peach martinis to put our table in the right mood.
Very kind staff, extremely generous portion, full of flavor.
I was not able to finish the guambo which never happened to me before.
Phenomenal, no question on why Georgia Brown is a local institution.

Preset 4 course menu and worth it! The ambience is very nice and upscale.
Food was just absolutely delicious.
The wait staff were friendly and phenomenal.
Service was quick and seamless.
They also had a live musician who sang his heart out.
Did a great Ray Charles set and it really fit the mood and the tone of the restaurant.
I loved it and would definitely go back the next time I’m in DC
