Went to The Back Alley for lunch. The burger and philly were good.Loaded fries were great, and they did not skimp on the toppings. There is plenty of room for the kiddos to run around. There is a dedicated play area, but it is boring if you are the only kid.(Fort type structure with 2 slides and a dome meant for small kids.) Went around 2pm on a Friday and there were maybe 3 people here.
I had to leave a review because the food was unbelievably good.I didn't expect much more than bar food, but the pork sliders app and shrimp flatbread that we got tasted amazing.Eating the leftovers later has me debating if they're the best sliders I've had.Portions were great, prices fair, kids enjoyed their kid meals, the indoor seating was spacious and a great break from the heat.If we lived here, I would come here often.
Checked this place out with my family (4 kiddos) for their Fourth of July event. It wasn’t crowded at all and the parking was free. The overall atmosphere was nice with indoor and outdoor seating. The inside seating was blissfully air conditioned and there was plentiful seating. We ordered some food and drinks, everything came out fairly quickly and was pretty fairly priced.I will say the kids meals were a bit overpriced at $8.50 each. The food tasted fine and their covered french fry appetizer was really good. I wish there’d been more hands on activities to do for the kids. They had a pool table and one set of corn hole. While it wasn’t crowded when we went, if it had been I can’t imagine those items would have been easily accessible. The do have a playground area but it’s basically a small partially fenced area with a small landing area to climb up and slide down.Probably good for kiddos 5 and under to play on for 10-15min. In addition there were no high chairs and I did not see a changing table when I used the restroom. Overall, we had a nice time but I’m not sure we’d be back as there’s a lot of similar venues that are way more kid friendly/family friendly and have more things to do during a visit.
