I feel fortunate to have a place like this just a couple blocks from my apartment.
The couple who own and operate Concrete, genuinely care and treat everyone with kindness.
They guided my dining experience by recommending specials and giving me the background to understand why these are classic Sicilian (and family) dishes.
The food is delicious and the attention to detail, in terms of quality, and service, make this place a perfect dining option in the neighborhood.
Live music on Wednesdays and a nice selection of wine and amaros.
I can’t recommend it enough.

My boyfriend and I were looking for an Italian place to eat lunch as our usual place was closed.
We happily found Concrete on google maps and made our way over.
When you walk up to it, you definitely wonder if you’re in the right place, but as soon as you step inside, the atmosphere is cozy, warm, and welcoming.
We were greeted by Francesco, who was super hospitable.
The menu has everything you’d want from an Italian place and more, even some classic American options.
The cocktails were amazing, I had the espresso martini, which was one of the best I’ve had.
My boyfriend had an Over the Counter, which was yummy and refreshing.
We ordered two pastas and a pizza, which the pastas blew us away.
Cooked perfectly for me, Al dente, but I can also see if some like theirs not as firm.
The pizza was fluffy, crispy, and thin.
The bottom was not soggy at all, perfectly crisp.
My boyfriend still can’t stop talking about the hot oil on the pizza.
All and all, the warm environment created by Francesco and his staff is an added plus to the amazing food they serve, we can’t wait to come back! PS the desserts are also incredible!!!

Fabulous.
Holy moly.
This Sicilian fare heals the weary soul, each bite soothes a hard days work away like a loving mama, a happy celebration for the gut, flavors and textures giving that close-your-eyes “this is life” goodness.
Well portioned for sharing or for a good appetite! Or for light eaters, salads also gorgeous and delicious.
Perfect for friends meal, date night, groups or families with little ones.
Staff is a-mazing.
Open spacious dining area with lovely high ceilings but still cozy and intimate.
Chill atmosphere, welcoming and inviting.
Rustic tables and candles set a calming casual mood.
Also, the stage gives fomo for not coming on live performance day.
My new favorite place, def will return.
