We decided to try Community Pie on some recommendations from Reddit, and are glad we did! The Detroit style pizza is very good, and they even had a couple of dark beers (a porter and a stout) on tap.Both were good too.The Drunk Pig was very good and the pepperoni was as well.I enjoyed my Caesar salad too, but my wife said her arugula salad was a little over dressed.A minor issue, and I strongly recommend trying Community Pie if you're looking pizza in downtown Chattanooga.
This was our first time eating here and will not be our last! Our waitress was very helpful & attentive.We ordered an order of garlic knots as an appetizer, got the bbq chicken and the special of the day, the “Hot Mess” for pizza & strawberry gelato for dessert.Hands down, best pizza aside from actual New York pizza.

Unique pizza experience. Took a while to understand the different types of pizzas and sauces. Ended up with a New York style build your own. Sausage, onion, and pappadew peppers with marinara sauce.Aside from the center being soggy, it was delicious! Nice chewy and crunchy crust, great flavor! We also had a double garden salad.There ranch dressing is really good.I didn’t have the spicy ranch dressing just the regular.The real star of the meal was the fried cheese!! So yummy! They were the perfect amount of crunchy and delicious flavor, that could’ve been a meal on its own.Ended up taking more than half the pizza home.But that’s OK.🤣 Pub style atmosphere, great drink specials.unfortunately we did not leave room for the gelato this time.
