Honestly, this has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants.
I was recommended to try this place by someone at work, and this place has never disappointed me.
The staff is always really nice and friendly.
The place itself is surprisingly nice inside for the location, and it almost feels like you're in a fancy restaurant when you dine in on a normal day.
Their buffet is pretty solid during the lunch hours on Friday and Saturday, and is a nice way to try out some of their food, especially if you're new to Indian food like I was at the time.
I've tried a handful of other Indian restaurants near me since I started going here, but they really just don't come close.
I've dined in multiple times, gotten take-out a few times, and gotten food delivered through Doordash more times than I can count.
This place is amazing, and I'm always sad to see how few people are there any time I go.
Clay Oven deserves some attention, so I hope one day they can see the amount of business they've earned.
I can't wait to go back!

Absolutely delicious Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken.
For whatever reason this place was dead on a Saturday night, but the staff was friendly, the spices were on point, and the garlic Naan (along with everything else) was perfect.
Will be visiting again soon.

Just had the lunch buffet at Clay Oven.
It was fantastic, but I love Indian food so I'm biased.
It is my favorite for Indian buffet on the south side of Indy just beating out 2nd place Tandoori Flame.
They moved two doors down in the same strip mall.
Their new place has twice the interior space.
