this place is genuinely a hidden gem! Food quality and variety is amazing and everything is so balanced.
Everything from drinks, apps, entrees, dessert, vibe are all worth coming back again and again.
This restaurant has quickly become my go to for special celebrations and group dinners.
They also have a private dining room which is great for events!

We have wanted to dine at Clarklewis for some time now but until now, we couldn't pull it off - and we wish we didn't😐.
When our server approached we shared with her that we were excited to finally be there - and she could not have cared less.
After her initial '...well, welcome in..." We were an after thought the rest of our time there.
She wanted to rush us, and tried her best to.
We asked for appetizers recommendations, nope.
We asked for entrée recommendations, she had no time.
Over our 1.5 hours at CL she checked in with us at such a rapid pace that as she walked up to our table and said, 'how is everything...?' As we began to answer her we looked up and she was gone.😒 we lost track of how many times this happened - at some point it was laughable and predictable.
It was not slammed.
Open tables to the left and right.
The food was whelming, sadly.
The steak was bland.
The shrimp was fishy.
The salad was wilted.
The dessert had about as much taste as a Little Debbie 7-11 purchased treat.
The only item that was a breath of fresh taste were the scallops.
Seared, firm and flavorful.
We would have loved to share all our thoughts with our server to inquire what could be done, but remember - she was bored with us and we were an afterthought.
Sadly, our high hopes were dashed and we will not be back because the of figurative and literal bad taste left in our mouths.

Ari, I am saddened to hear that we let you down your last visit to the restaurant.
Have an idea which server you speak of, and you won't be surprised to hear that she is no longer with us.
As to your comments about the food, I'm surprised - to make an understatement - but I will pass them along to the chef, and we will check our recipes and preparations to be sure we are serving the always-delicious food that is our goal.
I appreciate this opportunity to improve, and hope that after some time you will try Clarklewis again, when I'm sure we will impress. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Arrived for the Christmas Eve holiday buffet; oysters and beverages are not part of the package.
Do give the oysters a try – they're delightful! The overall buffet fare is decent, featuring fresh ingredients, but it appears pre-cooked and kept warm for some time.
The staff, including our waiter, were exceptionally friendly.
Keep in mind, the restaurant leans towards the pricey side, with an additional 10% service fee (excluding tips).
