We drove out of our way to have Chipotle for lunch on our way home from our road trip.There were signs on the door that said “online orders only” and also one blocking the line.However, there were people also ordering in person while everyone else was standing ordering on their phones.The manager was turning some people away from ordering in person, telling them to order online, while allowing others to order in person.I asked the manager how come I couldn’t order in person but other people could, and she said “because they were yelling”.I asked “if I start yelling can I order?” and she said “no, because we’re short staffed”.Mind you, there were 6 people in there.I wasn’t going to yell and completely understand being understaffed, however, I don’t the logic of allowing only online orders.If you are short staffed, cut online orders and only serve your customers in person, especially when you see people in your store ordering on the phone.They still have to wait and watch their meals get prepared.Very dissatisfied with chipotle! We walked out and won’t be ordering at any chipotles anytime soon.
Don’t order online, always go in so you can watch them prepare your food.This is just sad
Been here several times.For some reason I’m expecting it to improve but it just hasn’t.They’re usually out of some food.There’s usually a long line, and they’re usually slow.There’s usually a bad attitude from someone, and there’s always a “sorry we’re short staffed,” despite 6 or 7 people standing around.I’ve never had an issue with the food, it’s just poor customer service and what appears to be outright laziness.I’d just avoid this chipotle.
