I’ve been a die hard fan of this place since I was a teenager (at least 10 years).
It’s my favorite Chinese food on the eastern shore. Tonight was my last time purchasing from them. I am the only person in my family that likes Chinese.
So when I buy, I’m only buying for one person.
Since re-opening, it seems their only aim is to get as much money as possible out of there long list of loyal customers, knowing they are the only option in Chestertown. I only wanted enough food for one person, but now you have NO OPTION to get any small portions (sides not only entrees).
I understand it is inflation, prices have gone up.
However, they will sell you Large family portions or nothing.
Because I wanted the food, I took the hit.
I spent $41.55 for a single person dinner because they refuse to sell sizes in order to pull in as much money as they can. This is a waste of people’s money, and waste of food. It put a horrible taste in my mouth as a loyal customer.
Being willing to take advantage of people who like your food out of blatant greed is not what good food should be about. Do better.

We love Chinese food.
We immediately ordered from this place when we moved here approximately 2 years ago.
It was HORRIBLE!!!! We tried again, nope, still not worth the money! Today, I had a taste for broccoli and shrimp, let me try again.
And not white rice, let's try shrimp fried rice! Well my broccoli was soggy and shrimp mushy.
Below you'll see the shrimp fried rice.
No veggies, just orange rice, not fried, and 2, maybe 3 shrimp! Now it's official NEVER AGAIN!!!! When family comes, we will travel to get Chinese! 🤮 Oh and shrimp & broccoli with shrimp fried rice $20!!!!!

Food is just OK.
Certainly nothing special and as everyone else has said, what they call fried rice is…something else.
That all said, yes it’s the only place in town but check out the prices these days.

Is it REALLY not worth driving to Centreville or anywhere else with a Chinese restaurant that has reasonable prices? I got an Orange Chicken combo that is around $11 just about anywhere else around here and the total was over $16.
That’s just ridiculous. Also they seem to just change their hours willy nilly.
Today, on a Thursday, they are closed at 3:00 in the afternoon.
And not open until 3:30.
Lots of restaurants do this, but they post their hours here, on Google.
This place doesn’t do that.
