Chasing Sage

Just amazing food.
My husband and I went in recently to celebrate the end of the school year and had such a nice experience that this is where I wanted my birthday dinner.
We had a reservation for 4 at 5pm and walked in at 4:50 not realizing we were that early.
We were asked to come back in ten minutes.
No problem. No one was in the restaurant when we were seated and I kindly asked to sit in the booth area and not the table.
One of my friends who was with me has been mending a broken tailbone and I personally can’t sit on the hard chairs for medical reasons.
The host was very nice about it but one of the servers was rude telling us we must be out by 7.
Two hours was more than we needed.
We were done by 6:25 but didn’t get our check until almost 6:40.
I have no problem with being told we have a table wait time limit to 2 hours.
I would not have found that rude.
I’m not sure if the server knows that is how her comments come out.
She was not our personal server and never came back over to our table. That being said the server who waited on us was incredibly nice and listened to our dietary issues.
She gave great recommendations and did a lovely job!! I absolutely love this food.
The chef is kind and generous the two times we have been in.
My friends absolutely loved all of it and we enjoyed our night. The dumplings are amazing.
Wow! The shirt steak was good.
The watermelon appetizer was just yum!!! I wish the head chef did cooking classes so I could learn how to do some of this at home.
Kudos!!

I will try to write more when I have time.
I’m not necessarily into organic or farm to table which this restaurant offers both, but I love food that is imaginative and interesting.
Everything on this menu will capture you.
Every person there will intrigue you.
The interior design perfectly aligned with the menu.
The menu has a hint of sarcasm and a splash of delight in every bite.
This is a perfect restaurant.

Every course was delicious! The cocktails / mocktails are amazing as well.
Really can't go wrong with any dish.
The service was lovely as well.
