Champs Pizza & Wings

Medium pizza and fries $10.
So good and quick.
The pizza was very good, not too cheesy, the sauce had a hint of garlic in it and the crust is perfect.

This was our first time ordering from this place, and it will be our last.
We usually don’t order from places with an average star rating on Google, but we wanted to try some place new, so we gave it a chance—bad idea.
Our experience from start to finish was awful, and without going into every detail, let’s start with customer service. We placed an order sometime around 4:30 pm using the Slice platform on their website.
Once the order is processed, you receive an email confirmation and an ETA on when the food will be delivered.
At 4:54, I received another email from Slice that our order had been canceled. I called the store, and the person who took my phone call said that they had never received my order and that he had no idea what was happening.
So, instead of calling Slice, an ordering service he utilizes for sales, he had me call the support line.
I had to call him back to let him know he needed to confirm the order.
Red Flag number one. Fast forward, we ended up having multiple issues with our delivery, and the second time I had to call him back to get an ETA on when our food would be delivered, he just started laughing.
He thought it was hilarious that we still hadn’t received our food almost 2 hours later.
We ordered at 4:30 and received our food that night, around 7:15 pm. And the food.
What a disappointment. The Pizza was so bad that I ate one slice and threw the remaining pieces into the garbage.
I have never had blander pizza in my life.
Furthermore, there was barely any sauce or cheese, and we had ordered extra cheese. The Bacon Cheese fries were soggy, and the bacon was undercooked, but I still ate them because I was so hungry, and it was the most palatable dish out of everything we had ordered. We received the wrong order of wings, and at this point, we didn’t even try the two cheesesteaks we had ordered.
We just threw them away. I know this was a long review, but hopefully, you had a chance to read it before wasting a dollar on this place.

I was in the area and I had been thinking of a cheese steak all day.
As I turned on to Reisterstown Rd.
I saw Champs on my right hand side and decided to stop in. Pulling into the parking lot, the windows are filled with menu deals.
My mind naturally started to want every combo deal I saw, but I was stuck on a cheese steak.
As I walked in, there were even more deals.
I promise you, I almost ordered a large pizza as the pick up deal was so enticing.
LoL!! As I looked around, the space is small, however, there are a few 2 seater high tops if you did want to dine in.
The establishment was clean and the main area behind the counter was clean as well. I was assured immediately by a gentleman who was very pleasant and quickly took my order.
I was the only one in at the moment which allowed him to begin on my order immediately… Moments later, my sub was ready, I paid, and was out the door. Once I arrived at my hotel, I was excited to dig in.
I got a small cheesesteak with everything on it. The meat was well seasoned and perfectly done.
Not too greasy and not dry at all. The bread was fresh and had a crispness on the outside, and cloudy softness on the inside. The fixings were fresh and evenly distributed.
The sun wasn’t sloppy and nothing on it overpowered the natural flavor profile of the cheesesteak. Overall, I really enjoyed my sun and will return next time I’m in the area and in the mood for a sun shop experience.
