They first served us papad and chutney which kept us busy. We tried the veggie korma, veggie tikka masala, garlic naan, veg biryani and they were top notch. We also ordered chowmein which wasn’t that great. Their hospitality was good and the location and ambiance has a good vibe to it. One of the most flavorful Indian food in SF.
Nice bar, servers are attentive and welcoming.Decent whiskies and cocktails too.Try their craft beer that is poured directly from a unitank next to the bar.It's delicious!
We decided to come to this very highly rated restaurant in the fun Castro neighborhood and we’re not disappointed and are to be able to heap more praise on it. This is some of the best Indian food I’ve had anywhere.Everything was made well, using local and organic when possible.The bengan bharta was tart, smoky, and smooth, while the coconut curry veggies were sweet, nutty, and so delicious.The cilantro sauce was better than usual, though the tamarind sauce was a little too thin.And the piña colada with coconut yogurt was quite an unusual treat. We’re already planning to return next week with our cousins.
