This place is a must-visit for authentic Mexican tacos.
We tried the carnitas tacos and a horchata, and they were fantastic.
Just remember: there’s no seating!! It’s strictly for takeout.
But with Harrison Park nearby, it’s the perfect spot for a taco picnic.
The owner greeted us warmly and even gave us a cajeta sweet (a very typical candy in Mexico).
Highly recommended for taco lovers seeking a real deal ;)

oh man oh man oh man.
this establishment knows carnitas. this place is Takeout only.
you go in wait in line to order, admire the juiciness, sample a fried taco, collect yo stuff, find a sunny spot and dive right in. it is not wheelchair nor vegetarian friendly so please plan accordingly.

We have ramp available for wheelchair access (upon request).
There is signage up front.
Limited vegetarian options (admittedly).

Great carnitas! Ordered by weight.
The location in Pilsen is for takeout orders only.
Salsa comes with your order of carnitas (pictured) but not the tortillas.
Portions are served well.
We got the weekend special corundas (pictured) which came with plenty of salsa, crema and queso.
Hubs had the tacos dorados and liked them.
Staff was friendly and asked what type of carnitas we wanted (pure meat or pork skin/organ meat).
Meter street parking.
Very small inside and the door is not handicap equipped.
There was a pick up window but we didn't use this service.
The only downside with our order was that we didn't get napkins or forks.
