Capparelli's Restaurant

First, I would like to say our waitress and staff overall were great and attentive.
Friendly people, who waited on my huge family.
Sadly, she never told us her name, so I can't give her a shout out. The environment looks small on the reviews but was surprisingly big.
It was kept in good shape and clean. Our menus were a little dirty but fine overall.
We waited on our food for a while, and while I have no complaints about that, I do have to complain about the chairs.
We were there for a couple of hrs and being seated in those chairs was terrible.
They need more comfortable seating. On to the food...
the reviews almost made me run to this place.
The food looked Sooooo good... I ordered my chicken parm, with angel hair spaghetti, and it looked just like the one in the reviews... Sadly, that's where it ended (IN MY EXPERIENCE).
This beautiful looking food was SOOO BLAND! The only flavor was from the sauce...
parts of the chicken felt uncooked and had no flavor, the noodles were cooked fine...
but I was expecting to be blown away and I was...
let down, to say the least. My wife ordered a pasta with crab stuffed with shrimp?...
that was dry (the noodles sat on top of a butter sauce...) my wife then gets up to ask for more "sauce" and they give her a little cup with more butter oil sauce to pour over it; which she did...
long story short, this made her a little sick.
The shrimp, crab meat was good, she says.
But she didn't enjoy her meal. My son's ordered the calzone.
😆 they loved it.
Grown men with pizza sauce all over their face.
No complaints there. We also ordered a spinach artichoke dip.
My wife really liked that... I don't know...
it wasn't what I was expecting.

Had an enjoyable dinner here tonight.
This was our second time at this Capparelli's location.
Service is consistently friendly and it was clear the team was working very hard on a busy night.
Atmosphere was nice, and everything appeared clean and welcoming.
Definitely appears to be a local gathering spot for friends and families, so that is nice to see in a world full of big chain restaurants.
We had the lasagna, and it was very good.
The only thing we would have liked is perhaps a bit more spice in the sauce.
Tastes vary greatly, obviously, but just a tad more kick would have been good. The salad was good, but had a lot of the white ribs of the leaves, so not as enjoyable.
Garlic bread comes with the meal as well, but didn't have much garlic and not enough butter in addition to being a bit overcooked.
Iced tea was clear (thank you), but tasted a bit on the weak side.
Overall, not a bad experience at all.
A couple of tweaks here and there would make it even better.

This place was a surprise! First off great staff, friendly and very attentive.
Tried something different and was very happy.
Great service, great food and overall great atmosphere! Would recommend for casual dining Italian cuisine.
