Very nice service and such a beautiful restaurant. However food quality to me was very poor especially for the price .
I ordered a fresco queso arepa and a con pan bisteck sandwich. The menu didn’t mention anything about the sandwich having tons of little crunchy fry things.
The sandwich bread is very thick and as you can see the meat is very thin so I would call it a fry sandwhich instead of a steak sandwhich. And the Arepa was very disappointing.
The cheese inside wasn’t even melted. Definitely would not eat here again for the price and skimpy quality, but maybe I just visited on a bad day.

Wonderful locally owned food place! This is super close to my apartment and I will be here often.
Really excited to work my way through their delicious menu! Prices are great for the quality and portion size.

Spotted this little shop while out for some errands.
As I was already planning to pick up some drive thru takeaway for dinner, this quickly became the (better) plan.
Yes, it was cold, and yes, there's only a walk up window, but the very helpful staff at the window knew almost exactly how long it was going to take for my order to be ready, so it was convenient to just go wait in my car.
And if your visit is planned, then just order ahead.
Everything was delicious.
The chicken, although tasty, is in just about the same format wherever it appears in an iteration, so if you want a lot of diversity, order accordingly.
The black beans and rice are delicious - definitely a worthy side.
The arepas were my favorite, especially (ESPECIALLY) the guasacaca.
So fresh and fresh tasting! It surpassed my expectations.
I would go back and get just these, honestly.
But we enjoyed everything else we got, as well, with leftovers.
I ordered approx two bags of food, for reference.
Those arepas are super sturdy, and I would estimate they're the equivalent of two tacos; pricing seems very appropriate.
The quick pickled shredded carrots that came with the rice are really nice.
The sauce on the side is interesting.
Not spicy, but adds just a bit more. The pernil sandwich was delicious.
The little french fry sticks stayed crispy, shockingly, and are essential to this sandwich texturally.
It's a very generous size and we split one half (in addition to all the other food we were eating).
If I was getting it on its own to eat on my own, one half would be more than enough. They were out of flan so I ordered the tres leches instead and quickly realized that I was glad they were out of flan because this piece of cake was delicious.

We shared one piece among two adults and one toddler.
Will you want your own slice? Yes.
Is it rich enough to share, despite its standard size? Yes.
Did I want more? Yes Love having this option in Kansas City.
Looking forward to getting a chance to go back. (Although it kept the food nicely warm until we got home, the only unfortunate aspect is the Styrofoam packaging.
I'll remember in the future to decline the plastic cutlery that ended up in the bag.)
