We arrived at around 6:50 pm, and I guess the servers weren't expecting customers that late or something, but customer service was horrible. The tilapia pepper soup was great. We also ordered Cameron grilled tilapia, but we received fried tilapia that was not properly seasoned.I loved the stew that came with the Camerron fish, but the waitress should have asked how spicy we wanted it because that stew was the definition of "Pepper." I will go back for the restaurant atmosphere itself but probably on a weekend or better order takeout.
I love that the jollof rice was party jollof rice. The snail was soft. The oxtails was not hard. The sauce tasted amazingly delicious! I'll definitely come back.
Came from NY (u know there's not too many Naija resturants in NY) so hungry to try a variety.Ordered the Afang, then learnt they had "ewa agoin" so ordered that too for breakfast next day.Afang was a disappointment-even those local said that's the not place for such. This morning the beans, an apology.Dry and no taste. Service though for take out was really good, and the atmosphere, gave it 5 stars as it's one of the best ambience I've seen for a Nigerian resturant. It would be a good place to go with friends, have a drink and pepper soup- i guess (there's a bar -I did not try it).But it's a resturant and food is the primary and I was sorely disappointed.
