Our new favourite Lunch spot in Fremont. They have a fast and friendly arrive with lots of bento and rice and noodle dishes and sets to choose from. All sets include free tea/coffee/drink, soup, and dessert! The soup is a type of yummy fish soup that you won’t taste in Japanese restaurants!
Went here on a whim last Friday for lunch and it was packed.Once I was seated, I appreciated the expansive menu and the large portion sizes. This place is arguably the best ramen I've had in the Bay area. Most ramen shops exclusively have your typical tonkotsu broths, but this place has many varieties. My favorite was the curry ramen which was AMAZING.Highly recommend.Bodo Lucky is going to staple for me and my family when we're craving ramen.
Bodo Lucky Japanese Restaurant: Small Space, Big Flavor Explosion! Bodo had been on my radar for ages, and finally, I snagged a spot during the bustling holiday season. Now, let me tell you, this place lives up to the hype! Sure, it's cozy , and parking might be a seasonal game of Tetris. But once you squeeze in and snag a seat, prepare for a flavor adventure. The menu teems with intriguing options, and the star of the show, the ramen, is truly something special. The Nagasaki ramen stole my heart (and taste buds). It's a symphony of rich broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and tender pork belly.I savored every slurp, and let me tell you, the spice level packs a punch. If you're a heat seeker, go for it – it's incredible. But proceed with caution, my spice-loving friends, because "spicy" here might have your forehead glistening. Speaking of spice, the menu caters to all levels, which is fantastic. My little ramen warriors devoured the kids' option, and the accompanying fresh fries were a golden, crispy delight.Even the vegetarian ramen stole the show – a flavorful broth full of veggies that had me questioning why I ever considered meat in ramen. And to top it all off, a complimentary pudding capped the meal with a creamy, sweet note.It was the perfect way to end this epic culinary journey. So, if you're looking for an intimate, flavorful, and authentic ramen experience, Bodo is a must-try.This gem is definitely on my "come back for more" list, and I'm already raving about it to all my ramen-loving friends. **Highlights:** * **Amazing Nagasaki ramen:** Flavorful broth, perfect noodles, and tender pork belly. * **Vegetarian ramen:** A must-try for meat-free foodies. * **Spicy options:** Customizable spice level, but be warned, "spicy" is no joke! * **Kids' menu:** Ramen and fries combo that'll keep the little ones happy. * **Complementary pudding:** A sweet, creamy finish to the meal. * **Interesting menu:** More than just ramen to explore. **Considerations:** * **Small and crowded:** Be prepared for a cozy (read: tiny) atmosphere. * **Limited seating:** Snag a spot early, especially during peak hours. * **Parking might be tricky:** Plan ahead and explore nearby options. **Overall:** A small space with a big flavor punch! Delicious ramen, customizable spice levels, and more to explore on the menu.Perfect for ramen lovers and adventurous eaters.Just be prepared to share the space and potentially the sidewalk for parking.I'll definitely be back!
