Cocktail bar, Gastropub, Thai restaurant
One of the best drunken noodle (Pao Kee Mao) I have got in the states.I was sitting at the bar and the bar tender James was very attentive and helpful. The restaurant fill up pretty quick so I was happy to be there early. The atmosphere is great.I’ll come back for cocktail next time!
Drinks were creative and amazing. The chicken wing appetizer was a complete disappointment, quite dry and bland. They most likely air fried the chicken wings.Food was quite decent, but not completely authentic.Service was AMAZING.The entire wait staff was attentive to everyone dining, even if it wasn't their table.

Hello Jarrod Thank you for taking the time to review our establishment. We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our creative drinks! Regarding your comments on the chicken wings, we appreciate your feedback and would like to provide some insight into our cooking process. At BODHI, our recipes are a reflection of our family’s three-generational Thai heritage. Our chicken wings are prepared with a unique technique: we first steam and then deep fry the wings, opting for a dry-rubbed version that our family has always loved. We understand that this might differ from what some expect, and while we know some of our guests prefer soaky, saucy wings, that’s not what we personally enjoy or choose to serve at BODHI. We also noticed your thoughts on the authenticity of our cuisine.‘Authenticity’ can be subjective, especially in Thai cooking, where recipes can vary greatly even within Thailand. We strive to bring our family’s version of Thai dishes to our guests, hoping to offer a taste of our home. Additionally, next time if there’s something on our menu that doesn’t quite meet your expectations, please don’t hesitate to try something different. We’re not shy about accommodating our guests’ preferences, and we’d be happy to recommend other dishes that might better suit your tastes. Thank you again for dining with us and for your honest feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you again and introduce you to other dishes that might better meet your expectations. Regards, Taelor - Owner
Edit (January’24): Booked a table for a friends night out and had a bad experience in terms of service! Food as always was on point! The waitress was least interested in serving and the table took forever to get arranged, over 3.5hours! It feels it’s like you have to deal with bad service when you want great food! I would highly suggest takeaway This place is lovely! It’s almost always has waiting! This time we were determined to wait and grab dinner. If you want to have dinner around 7, then go atleast half an hour earlier to get your name in the waitlist. Food: We ordered a little bit too much as we want to try more.We ordered the vegetable spring roll, the pork skewers, drunken noodles and cashew stir fry.The food was delicious and the portion sizes are quite generous. Drinks: We ordered Emerald Buddha and Pink pong drink.Emerald Buddha was fruity and sweet whereas the pink ping drink was cream based Ambience: the place was hustling with people and the overall atmosphere was lively. We didn’t get a table and opted for bar to reduce the wait time and it was one of the best decisions! The staff was super sweet and they gave great recommendations basis your inputs.

Hi Akshara, Thanks for sharing your experience with us.I’m really glad to hear that the food was a hit, but I’m sorry to hear that the service didn’t live up to your expectations. That’s not the vibe we’re going for, and I apologize for the hassle, especially with the long wait for your table. We’re all about making sure our guests have a great time, so it’s disappointing to know we missed the mark during your visit.I’d really appreciate it if you could shoot over some more details about your experience to taelor@bodhi-indy.com.Things like when you visited and any info you can share about the service you received would be super helpful. This will help us figure out what went wrong and how we can do better. Regarding the wait time, especially for a group like yours, it sounds like it was a tough night to get seated.Losing our patio seating in the winter really puts a squeeze on our space, limiting us to 50 seats. We’re working on how to better accommodate everyone, especially during busy times, and your feedback is crucial in that process. Thanks again for reaching out.I’m hoping to hear back from you soon so we can make your next visit much smoother. Best, Taelor Carmine, Owner
