Steak house, American restaurant, Restaurant, Seafood restaurant
We started with bang bang shrimp, which was crunchy, flavorful, and honestly some of the best bang bang shrimp I’ve ever had.We each had two drinks.I had wine, and my counterpart had Beer.I ordered the filet mignon with a crabcake, and my counterpart ordered an aged ribeye. We also had the asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. The filet mignon was buttery, smooth, and flavorful and had a fantastic sauce.I loved every single bite, and I would order that again again. The crabcake was moderate. It didn’t have a ton of flavor and didn’t have a good sear on the outside, so it was fine, but I should’ve just ordered the fillet on its own.The mashed potatoes were flavorful and moist, and the asparagus was perfectly cooked to where it had a little bite but wasn’t wilted. The dry ribeye had a lot of fat on it, which was kind of surprising for being a $70 steak.I think we left about 4 ounces of just fat on the plate, unfortunately. The service was excellent. They did not rush us at all.I felt very welcome here, and I enjoyed the experience.
So proud we decided to try this restaurant! The service was 5 stars! Being greeted as we walked in was just the start! Our waiter was the very best! Michael was also a great host! Thanks to everyone in this restaurant that made us feel so special!
I ordered the Cajun Ribeye well done which was perfectly balanced seasoned.I was worried with it being well done that the steak would be overcooked making it difficult to cut but it wasn’t. I also had the Grilled Asparagus which was cooked to perfection.I usually like light pepper in addition to the lime and sea salt already included. However, the pinch of charred taste left no need for me to use black pepper. The truffle fries were good the main thing that stuck out was the truffle sauce that came with it.The taste of the fries itself was fresh. I had a glass of the Clase Azul reposado which is now my new tequila. The service was lacking probably because it was a Sunday night and the hours were limited. The server was overwhelmed but still managed to multitask very well.
