Bob Evans

Had the fried steak with the country gravy.
It was disgusting.
Chopped reformed beef .
I haven’t been to Bob Evans in a long time.
But they have definitely slipped through the years.
My kids liked their burgers.
Those were good.
But to keep something on the menu that sucks.
I guess they figure if they put enough gravy on it, It hides the poor excuse for a country fried steak.
Do me a favor owner of the store.
Don’t apologize to me for bad food.
I don’t want to hear it.
Do something about it

Our first visit in a Bob Evans. Its amazing! Lovely interior, superfriendly staff and a very tasty breakfast We love to come back soon

I had country fried steak dinner bell entree.
Entree ($8.99) came with country friend steak with gravy on top and two sides.
I got macaroni and cheese with loaded fries (premium side extra $1.29) sour cream, scallions, bacon bits, and cheese.
I also got a strawberry lemonade with free refills.
Entree came with AMAZING buttermilk biscuits and butter that tasted homemade, so good. Every single thing was delicious, right temperature, cooked correctly, and good portion size.
The steak had a crunchy breading on top that did not get mushy even with the gravy on top.
Gravy tasted homemade, so thick and tasty. *The macaroni and cheese here is THE BEST you can find at any chain* The loaded fries were good and worth the extra $1.29, a generous amount of toppings and the scallions tasted fresh.
Even the ranch I asked for on the side was very good, did not have a strong oily taste, more of a creamy buttermilk taste, delicious! I had a coupon on the new Bob Evans app which made my dinner bell entree free. Service was very friendly, accurate, and fast.
Place was very clean too! This place is known for breakfast but I think their dinner is underrated! I'll get some pictures next time! Highly recommended!
