If you want a solid Southern diner this is exactly what you are searching for.
It has the look and feel of a diner that has survived the vicissitudes of time! We had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, boiled spinach and chicken in stuffing with giblet gravy, green beans, and even a dollop of canned cranberry sauce.
We both had a yeast roll and blueberry cobbler.
These were your dream meals from childhood! The cobbler was outstanding! The main courses were a gut punch of nostalgia you shouldn't resist.
