September 05, 2024I recently visited Black Star Kebab for the first time and was eager to try their West African offerings! 🌍 I went for the vegan combo, featuring plantains and jollof rice. The plantains were absolutely delicious, with a perfect caramelized sweetness. However, the jollof rice was a bit lacking in seasoning and texture - some of it felt overly mushy.
Despite this, the friendly owner made the visit enjoyable, sharing interesting tidbits about the dishes. The casual atmosphere is perfect for a quick bite or solo dining. I appreciated the effort, and I'm excited to see how they grow! Will I return? Definitely! 🍽️
