Craving an explosion of flavor? Look no further than this place, a hidden gem specializing in the thrilling world of Sichuan cuisine. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the warm aroma of chilies and spices, a promise of the delicious adventure to come. We ordered an assorted pot with veggies and meat and a hotpot with beef. The quantity and quality were both excellent. We enjoy spicy food so the flavour was just right but if you are just starting to acquire such taste, I’d be cautious on very spicy menu items. You can tell the level of spiciness by just looking at the menu 😉 The only downside is the limited seating.Expect to wait during busy hours. I would come here again for sure!
Food is spicy for sure! Definitely has a unique taste to its Sichuan food compared to other places.Service was quick, efficient.Place is clean and they aren’t stingy on napkins.Tables are typical set and ready to eat at with water, cups, plates and chopsticks.Bonus points for being available up north from Seattle. If you have to wait for a seat, a good thing is that it’s located inside the Asian Family grocery store to spend time.Food favor is a bit flat but still tasty, sure tastes less salty (which is a good thing in this case) however food is missing those numbing peppers you’d normally expect.
PSA: When the menu says "sauteed chicken with chili peppers" don't be fooled. It's actually DEEP FRIED chicken and lots of fried chilis.Tiny pieces at that, with lots of batter and deep dried. We returned it to the kitchen. The other dish we got, shrimp fried rice, tasted good but we suspect it got double salted by accident. We ordered the stir fried beans to replace the chicken dish and it was the star of the meal. Fresh beans, stir fried to perfection with garlic.
