BIG DZZ HOUSE BBQ is a hidden gem in Akron! 🍖 The casual atmosphere makes it perfect for a laid-back lunch or dinner. I tried their smoked brisket platter, which was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. The tangy barbecue sauce complemented it perfectly.
The staff was super friendly, ensuring a great dining experience. Plus, the wheelchair-accessible car park is a thoughtful touch. If you’re in the mood for comfort food, this spot definitely delivers. Can't wait to come back for more! 🚗✨
Decided to try this new place out for lunch, and glad I did! I ordered a BBQ rib dinner and it came with 2 sides, I had mac & cheese and potato salad.First off, the ribs were really tasty! Tender, LOVED the sauce and smoke flavor and fell off the bone.The sides tasted really good too, and the portions were big so it was filling.The gentleman at the window was very friendly, welcoming and the prices are decent.They have daily specials, and plenty to choose from off the regular menu.Sandwiches, fries, chicken & waffles...you name it.Definitely will be going back to try other things he has!

Big D was absolutely amazing.What a guy.The man behind the food is a good as it gets but let me tell you about the food- unreal.We had a spread of ribs brisket pulled chicken and bbq meatballs.The meatballs he makes are the bomb.Three or four different sides- the mac and cheese was crazy good.Just super top notch elite service.He handled everything, set up tear down serving trays utensils plates ect- everything.He is a must have at your gathering!!
*Akron location: Just had the Rib Dinner.Meat was the perfect fall off the bone yet "still clinging" tender.Smokey, deep rich, tangy, sweet sauce.Coleslaw was perfectly ratio'd.Dressing was balanced and coated well.Fries were fresh and perfectly cooked.Portions were "Hungry Man" level generous.Small soft roll allowed me to make a little Coleslaw/pork slider, what?!. Other than Mission, this the spot.Dale seems nice too! I'll definitely be back!
