Barbacoa is a delightful gem on Troost Ave, blending Mexican flavors with a Kansas City barbecue twist. 🌮✨

We enjoyed the queso fundido with yoli tortillas as an appetizer - so cheesy and comforting! For mains, I went with the suadero tacos - tender and flavorful, like brisket BBQ in a tortilla. My partner loved the smoked carnitas, which were perfectly seasoned.

The atmosphere was cozy yet trendy, making it a great spot for a date. Don’t miss their imaginative cocktails either! Can’t wait to come back for brunch - hopefully, those pancakes are less doughy next time! 😊🥞
