Baba Wali Restaurant is a hidden gem in San Antonio! 🌟 While the exterior may not be eye-catching, the upstairs dining area is a pleasant surprise with a clean, casual atmosphere.

I tried the Rosh and Karahi, and both were incredibly flavorful - definitely worth the visit! Plus, the saffron tea was a delightful touch while I waited.

The staff, especially owner Ajmal Zazai, went above and beyond with their outstanding customer service. This Afghan eatery is perfect for families and solo diners alike. Just a heads-up - call ahead for specific menu items like BBQ. Can’t wait to return! 🍽️
