This was our third time at Amal but first time for early brunch. The decor is very pretty and I loved that all of the windows were open (during spring time) which gives it that easy flow outdoor-indoor feel. The food and service was good.My only feedback is that the seating areas were not vacuumed as there were crumbs and hair visible. We came right as they opened, the first to be seated.
This restaurant offers a really nice variety that is true to Lebanese cuisine. We ordered drinks and 3 appetizers. They were absolutely delicious! The drink I ordered was the PHOENICIAN CONNECTION.It was smokey..interesting but not worth the $18.Overall, we ordered 2 drinks, CRISPY EGGPLANT & ZUCCHINI,TABBOULEH, and AMAL’S HUMMUS.Our tab was $141 (they include a 20% gratuity).Do I think it was worth $141? Absolutely NOT. I think the food is good but it truly is priced way too high.
The food was absolutely incredible and the drinks had very interesting and delicious flavors. We had no reservations and they sat us immediately at the bar.Excellent service.
