Al's Fish & Chicken

One of the best fried food in town.
And I’m talking about this specific branch.
The workers are super friendly.
I’ve been in Pittsburgh for about 5 years and I can finally say that I found my spot for fried chicken.
Their grilled chicken is dope and if you’re into grilled chicken wings then you must try theirs.
I highly recommend it! Bang for your buck!

Dropped by this place out of a recommendation from an acquaintance.
It’s a small serving counter for fried fish/chicken, cooked while one waits. What’s notable here is the amiable staff. BUT THE FOOD WAS A CATASTROPHIC DISAPPOINTMENT.
The fish in particular was the blandest food I’ve tasted.
It’s fried crisp but neither the batter nor the fish were seasoned.
It was splashed with what looks like powdered pepper but there’s no pepper, not even a hint of salt.
Worst, the batter is like tasteless crumbled cardboard.
It was very thick, the coated batter can be peeled off the fish.
The take away 10-piece “party” fish was a terrible mistake!!! My search for palatable fried fish in this town continues.

You can never go wrong with that 10 peice chicken wings & fries.
Freash out the oil and heavily sparkling of seasoning.
Oh, make sure you don't forget your lemonade..
