Aki Japanese Cuisine

When I entered the restaurant I was immediately struck by the dingy atmosphere.
The restaurant felt hot and humid, which made for an uncomfortable dining experience.
Fly strips hanging in the kitchen were an unpleasant sight, and the visible dust deposits on the ducts indicated a need for thorough cleaning.
Additionally, the air conditioners were leaking on the walls, adding to the overall feeling of neglect. The bathrooms need attention; they had significant dust buildup and a general lack of cleanliness.
While these issues don't directly affect food sanitation, they do raise concerns about the restaurant's overall attention to hygiene.
If the visible areas are not well-maintained, one can only wonder about the conditions behind the scenes. On a positive note, the food itself was good.
We ordered ramen and edamame, both of which were enjoyable.
However, the specialty drinks left much to be desired.
The fruit tea was tasty, but the taro boba was very watered down and not worth the high price. The tables were clean, and the employees were friendly, which provided some redeeming qualities to the dining experience.
Nonetheless, the overall lack of cleanliness and maintenance significantly detracted from what could have been a much more pleasant visit. In summary, while the food at Sushi Haven was enjoyable and the staff were pleasant, the poor upkeep of the restaurant's environment made it difficult to fully appreciate the meal.
Addressing these cleanliness and maintenance issues would greatly improve the dining experience.

DELICIOUS! My husband and I were craving Asian food and this place really had it all.
We were sat down immediately and had so many options to choose from: Sushi, Ramen, Hibachi, Poke Bowls, Boba teas, etc.
(huge menu!).
Everything was super hot, had so much flavor, and the service was so friendly.
Needless to say we’ve found our new favorite place in town.

Overall good experience and value.
Definitely stick to the food items in the name.
The sushi and ramen and teas were all great.
The steak fried rice was extremely bland and tough so I would avoid any of the hibachi style meals
