Called and placed a pick up order, the person who took my order was so lovely.
I wish I could say the same about the egusi soup and ogbono soup :( being my first time trying it I had high expectations after hearing about it but there wasn't much flavor and the spice took over everything.
Smelt a little funky but I expected that as it had fish in it !

I want be as polite as possible This food was not freshly made.
It arrived ice cold with no heat left to anything. The Pepper Soup meat was super rubbery.
We threw it out after 2 bites The Jollaf Chicken was hard and cadaver like.
Extremely off-putting. The rice was enjoyable but clearly made at a different time. The egusi soup was just not the best smell.
That is the nicest way I can describe it. I really wanted to like this place but with 2 meat dishes that were improperly cooked it's hard to trust this place again.

This order came through Grubhub and was packed immediately but was not picked up until two hour later.
I hope we can have another chance to give you a better experience.

I had the pleasure of dining at african bowl this afternoon , and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! From the moment i walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home.
The food was outstanding, with each dish expertly prepared and presented.
I ordered jollof which was cooked to perfection,
