We ate dinner here and got a table right away on a Friday night.
The server was attentive and friendly.
Ordered the fajitas for two with a little bit of everything.
We were very hungry and probably only finished about half.
Way too big of a portion size.
The shrimp tasted really good, but only got two.
Got a mountain of dry chicken though.
The beef and pork tasted pretty good.

Recently, I had a great overall experience at Acenar.
Two things stood out for us: 1.
Our server, Edward, on his first night (we were his first table!) Even if the food had been bad, he would have still earned a 5-star review.
2.
We all visit new restaurants hoping for a new taste or experience and the Jicama Shrimp Tacos delivered! I'll be going by again tonight to have them one more time before flying out.
They're that good!

Food was good.
Service was good.
I had our server who was very honest in terms of tips, we didn’t know that tips were already included on the tab & when we were about to leave, he told us we gave too much and returned us the money (we used cash for tips) and even took out his own wallet to make sure he had enough change.
Because of his honesty, we left $25 more for him. The atmosphere for inside seating was really dark and hot though.
I wish they opened the huge doors that connected to the outside seating/by the water and maybe turn up the fans/ac a bit. Overall, food was good.
