We came in as they opened for lunch at 11am.
We got a whole chicken that came with 2 large sides and a dark meat quarter plate that came with 2 small sides.
We opted for yucca fries, mashed potatoes, cilantro rice, chickpeas, and added an order of slaw and chicken fried rice.
The chicken was juicy, seasoned perfectly with a crispy roasted skin.
The yucca fries were golden brown and crisp.
The mashed potatoes were real and freshly mashed, cilantro rice was moist and very cilantro-ee.
The slaw was creamy and sweet and the chickpeas was seasoned well.
The chicken fried rice was surprisingly good.
The chicken comes with a green cilantro based spicy sauce (my favorite) and a creamy garlic sauce.
Yucca fries with cilantro sauce was the winning side dish and the chicken was hands down best we've had in a long while.
Only gripe is we wished that there was some kind of gravy for the mashed potatoes.
We definitely will be back.

Yummy Pollo is fantastic.
I was looking to branch out for lunch and found this place on Google Maps.
It's such a hole in the wall place and I wish more people knew about it.
I ordered a quarter of the dark meat.
They cut the chicken in fourths right in front of me.
It came with two sides and pita bread (which was incredibly soft).
I chose cilantro rice and the chick peas.
The amount was perfect for lunch. Every part of my meal blew way past my expectations.
All of it was seasoned perfectly (not too salty, not too spicy, just right).
I enjoyed all of it with their sweeter garlic aioli and the jalapeno sauces which added even more complex flavors to the dish.
You can taste the love in the food. The employees are friendly and you don't feel rushed ordering.
The owner came and checked on the patrons eating in the restaurant.
You can truly feel the passion he has for the food he puts out.
Overall, I will definitely be returning and hope other people check it out too.

Unfortunately, I ate way too fast to get a picture, but my empty plate says everything.
This food is delicious! The chicken is so tasty and juicy, and with the green sauce, it's unbeatable.
